I am sure if you are reading this you are trying to make some money online, whether by selling your own product or affiliate marketing you need to get your name out there. Here are 6 ways to help you.
1 – Interviews
Podcasts, Webcasts and RSS feeds are hot commodities so try and jump onto the bandwagon. Check out search engines and online directories related to your niche and see if there is someone you can interview and then post to your site. If you are already established, see if anyone wants to interview you!
2 – Networks
Social networks are very much a current trend. Set up a profile and build trust and rapport with others and then carefully work your website or affiliate link into conversations. You do have to be careful that you do not breach the terms of service for these types of sites, but if you are offering something of quality you should do quite well.
3 – Blogs
Find some high ranking blogs related to your niche and offer them a freebie. If they like your content you will get huge exposure! Be careful not to ask them to post your link or your work, the quality of your site and freebie must speak for themselves.
4 – Press Releases
Press releases get huge exposure and will generate traffic as long as you actually have something worthwhile to say. Make sure that you include a link to your site!
5 – Look at Your Competition
Pick the top 4 or 5 competitors within your chosen niche and take a close look. They are ranked higher for a reason and your job is to find it. Brainstorm about how you can match their level of quality and learn how to do it all better.
6 – Surveys
Ask your visitors something simple like “would you recommend this site to a friend?” with a scale of 1 to 10. If you are getting rating below 6 ask how you can improve your site and customer interface.
